A short course based on the method of Oxford University

Are you writing short stories or planning or trying to write a book? Do you need to re-boot your project? Does your motivation need a boost? Can’t you find time to write?

Then these workshops are for you.

Creative writing can take many forms : fiction, faction, memoir or speculative fiction /science fiction.

We work on your writing but also on the all-important re-writing & editing – this short course is not a writing boot-camp with nothing but random exercises.

You will write to progress your project, learn how to structure your manuscript, organise your time, and develop a critical eye when editing.

Your course colleagues will be your first readers/audience – their comments and suggestions and the course leader’s guidance will be invaluable and will energise your work – you will come away feeling like the writer you’ve always wanted to be.

Your teacher is Astrid Burchard
Astrid Burchardt, writer, journalist, lecturer, magazine editor (Time Out, BBC), film translator (BFI/NFT) Worked in London, Paris, Strasbourg, Munich and now Delft.
